General Information
Castello di Grotti is the name of an established family business passed down through many generations in some of most lovely areas of Tuscany: in the countryside South of Siena.
We provide accommodations for visitors in typical country houses that have been comfortably up-graded to vacation rentals in order to suit demanding tastes without losing any of the charm of the typical farmhouses of Tuscany.
Besides, we breed sheep whose milk is deliciously perfumed with local wild herbs, and we grow olive trees whose delicate-tasting extravirgin oil we process ourselves according to the European Union’s regulations. Recently our olive oil received the prestigious SLOW FOOD prize.
The farmhouse Casa della Mucca has 2 apartments, the Guardiola is a 2 bedroom country house, Villa Ballati is a villa with accommodations for 10 guests and Ballatina is a 1 bedroom apartment. All vacation rentals have been recently restored and are located within the park of the castle. Enjoy views of the hills of Tuscany, Siena and Chianti in the distance.
